HSM 4, Gates bans iPods, Paula slams Kara’s face, Facebook Facelift

My girlfriend and I went to the theaters on High School Musical (HSM) 3 and had one hell of a ride. Turns out, our 360 pesos was just an addition their whopping $250 million gross income. TV.com ran a story about a possible sequel. I know what you might be thinking about HSM 4: That Disney is “is milking out all the money they can from this.(Water78, TV.com)” But the worse part is that they are going to dish in new characters. That’s disrespecting the original fan base. Why not make another movie not just some freakin’ franchise of the already concluded trilogy. I’m not gonna be optimistic about it but I MIGHT cut it some slack.
Vogue recently interviewed philanthropist Melinda Gates. When she’s not in the Pacific Northwest funding nonprofits and family services, she is banning her children ”There are very few things that are on the banned list in our household. But iPods and iPhones are two things we don’t get for our kids..” But when you’re married to the world’s richest man all you could do is say, “Every now and then I look at my friends and say ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone.”
Cnet published a feature comparison on its site juxtaposing 15 online photo editors. I personally use photoshop.com where it would seem like you are using Photoshop in a browser. Plus you can edit existing photos in your social network accounts and export them somewhere else too.
American Idol throws in the fourth judge and not everyone is happy about it most especially Paula who tells OK! Mag that it “doesn’t work.” That’s a slap in the face and it’s gonna hurt. Kara might be irritable at times so I suspect there’s some in-fighting between the two.
Couldn’t say anything more but agree with gmx13 (TV.com), “The only thing wrong with four judges is that they added a girl who has better qualifications than Paula. Paula knows it. Her voice has always been one range and digitally overprocessed; yet she is judging other people's talents. Pass her the mic. Kara has proven on the spot during the auditions she can sing. Now if they added a male singer/songwriter, guaranteed Paula would have no issues with four judges.”
Moving on to Facebook, the question how the hell would they monetize the online experience of millions of users worldwide aside from the revenue streams they get from ads. But I have to admit I was totally blown away by the idea as they showed us the tour to the new homepage and it somehow looked cleaner and better with filters to the wall and all that.
